Therapy is a unique relationship. It's entirely focused on you. You can talk about thoughts, feelings, and fears in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment.
After you send me an email I will contact you to speak briefly and schedule our first appointment.
Our first session will be a detailed intake assessment. I will ask you a lot of questions to understand what issues you are currently facing, your history (family, relationships, education/work, health), and your goals.
Based on the intake assessment we will formulate a treatment plan tailored to your goals and needs.
We will meet for regular therapy sessions - typically weekly. I will listen, support and encourage you; I will help you process your feelings and identify unhelpful patterns in your thoughts and behaviors. I will guide you in gaining insight, learning new skills and reviewing your progress.
When you’re ready and we get to the end of our collaboration we will review your progress and develop a maintenance plan for your continued well-being.
